I am a second-year PhD student in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto, co-supervised by Prof. Alison Olechowski and Prof. Shurui Zhou. I previously earned my BASc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, where I completed my undergraduate thesis under the supervision of Prof. Eric Diller. During my undergraduate studies, I also completed a 12-month internship at PTC Inc. as an Innovation Engineering intern.

My current research lies at the intersection of human-computer interaction (HCI) and mechanical computer-aided design (CAD) . I study how engineers and designers interact with modern CAD tools, using mixed research methods to uncover the challenges embedded in everyday modelling workflows. Building on these insights, I design, prototype, and evaluate novel tools that extend the capabilities of modern CAD systems, leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) and techniques from software engineering to make design more efficient, intuitive, and resilient.
